Which input formats are supported?

HEX codes with or without # (including 3- and 8-digit forms), rgb() / rgba() functions and hsl() / hsla() functions.

What is the difference between HSL and HSV?

Both use hue, but HSL measures lightness while HSV measures value (brightness). Design tools often prefer HSV because saturation and brightness can be adjusted independently.
