Are the generated passwords secure?

The generator uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) — the same source used by password managers.

Should I include symbols?

Yes — symbols greatly increase the number of possible combinations and make brute-force attacks harder.

What are ambiguous characters?

Characters that are easy to confuse when typing or reading: I, l, 1, O, 0 and o. Enable the option to exclude them.
