FAQ

What is a check digit?

EAN, UPC and ITF-14 codes end with a checksum. The generator adds it for you when you provide the remaining digits.

Which format should I use?

CODE128 for internal labels, EAN-13 or UPC-A for retail products, ITF-14 for shipping cartons.

Can I use the SVG commercially?

Yes. Barcodes are generated locally and are free to use, including in print.
